Welcome to Juniors at Wamberal! Here you’ll find a family-friendly environment where parents and carers are encouraged to engage in their child’s learning with our open door policy.
Each child will begin our school readiness program—no matter what room they’re in. From dropping them off in the morning, through to being responsible for their own belongings (their hat, shoes, drink bottle, etc.), our children learn the vital skills and mindset they’ll need to prepare them for the future. So, by the time they leave us, they’ll be more than ready to thrive in their new school environment.
Our centre has plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to interact with one another, discover new things every day and play to their hearts content. We have an extra-large block with a sensory garden, playground, organic vegetable garden and much more.

The Purple Koala Room is suitable for 0-2 year olds. Here your children will begin their early development within a safe, caring and nurturing environment.
Our Yellow Koala Room is where our 2-3 year olds come to experience play based learning. Here we focus on the early development of language, self-help and relationships.
In the Green Wombat Room, our 3-4 year olds will start to make lots of decisions about their learning. We build the foundations of self-regulation and social responsibility.
The Orange Wombat Room is where our preschoolers (4-5 years) are exposed to STEM learning and other important skills to help them transition into primary school.
Developing Well-Rounded Kids
At the heart of our environment are our highly-trained and experienced educators. They create a holistic learning experience for each and every child—focusing on their choices and encouraging them to pursue what they’re actually interested in learning. We’ll continue to challenge their ever-developing skills, to help instill confidence and help them along their development path.
As they transition from our Koala Rooms (Purple & Yellow) through to our Wombat Rooms (Green & Orange), they’ll progress from developing a foundation in skills such as social development, emotional intelligence, self-help and relationship building; to becoming prepared for the challenges of school through STEM learning and social responsibility and leadership.
Throughout their time with us, play based learning will be at the heart of everything they experience. After all, the more fun they’re having, the more engaged they are to learn!

We have been part of the Juniors family since 2017. Both of our daughters were Koalas, and then Wombats. During our time at Juniors, we have watched our girls learn and grow with the guidance and support of the wonderful team of Educators. The care has been genuine and consistent over the last 5 years. Through the challenges of the pandemic the entire staff adapted, adjusted and went above and beyond for all of the children in their care. Both of my daughters have transitioned into Primary education with confidence and ease and I credit this to the team at Juniors. The ladies in administration are helpful and quick to respond to any query (even my ridiculous ones!) They greet each child by name and with a smile each morning. The environment is warm, friendly and inclusive.

We love Juniors at Wamberal! The owner, admin staff, director and educators are all so lovely and welcoming. My daughter loves going here and she has since day one. She runs into the arms of all her educators. Sometimes she doesn’t even want to come home as she is having too much fun and loves it there. I worked in childcare for a few years so I was nervous choosing a place I didn’t know for my daughter. But there are no regrets what so ever. The educators are amazing! We are extremely happy and would recommend Juniors to anyone.

AMAZING DAYCARE - Like NO other! I cannot write this daycare enough praise, as it would go on for pages. From the first day I sent my daughter (who was 1 at the time) to Juniors at Wamberal, we have been thrilled with the care she has received. As a parent, it is imperative to feel at ease and relaxed when sending your little one to be cared for, and this is exactly what Juniors ensures. I can call at any time of the day to check on my daughter, and am always greeted with reassurance and understanding. My daughter runs into the arms of EVERY educator at Juniors, and I can see how much they genuinely care about her. This warms my heart. Every day that she is in their care, I get a lengthy update about how her day has gone, what activities she has enjoyed, her mood for the day, and photos of the day in action! I could go on and on, but I won't. All I can say is that I would travel an hour, if I had to, to send my daughter to this daycare. They are honestly the best out there. You won't regret putting your precious cargo in their care!

All three of my children have had the good fortune of going to Juniors, from infants through to preschool. They have flourished in an environment where they could learn and grow through exploration, imagination and play. The educators have cared for them in such a genuine way and often knew the intricacies of their personality, interests, tastes like members of our own family. It's a beautifully run daycare with exceptional staff, that prepares little ones for big school so well.

We have been to stay with our grandson Henrik and his family, for 6 weeks. Having visited his nursery school a few times we are very impressed. Henrik talks about his educators and his friends when not there and we love the way he happily runs off to join them all on a morning. The school seems to be very well equipped with a variety of learning aids. We take home to England lovely thoughts of Henrik in his surroundings at the school.
